A suggestion changes the words it flagged and nothing else. A whole sentence is rewritten only when you press Rewrite.

Questions
Does my writing leave my browser?
Not to be checked. Spelling, grammar and style checks run on your device. Your documents are saved to your Fairtake account so they’re there next time, and only you can read them. The one exception is Rewrite: when you press it, that passage is sent to our server and to Groq to write an alternative. We don’t keep it.
Will it rewrite my sentences without asking?
No. Suggestions change only the words they point at, and every one is an offer: Use this, or Keep mine. Rewrites happen when you ask for one.
Is it really free?
Yes. During early access everything is free: every check, the browser extension and 10 rewrites a day. There’s no card to enter and no trial to cancel. Spelling and grammar checks will always be free.
Can I bring my documents with me?
Yes. Upload a .docx or .txt file, or paste. You can download any document as .docx or .txt whenever you like.
Does it work in my email or other apps?
Not yet. Fairtake is a web editor for now: write or paste here, then copy the result to wherever it’s going.
